Grey

Grey is a lovely color. It can signify coalition, strength, serenity, emotion, energy...probably more, depending on what's on your mind and how you wish to see it.

Our city skies have been filled with grey cotton candy for some days now. I love it because of its protective and nurturing ways. Plants, flowers and trees seem brighter and better. I like the way grey enhances their character. I feel more energetic and enthusiastic to go about my day.

Grey cells, grey areas, grey hair(that is actually white), grey on objects like clothes, walls, cables and so on. Grey is all over the place.

That's just Greyt! :-)

Art at my desk!

I love using pencils but am lazy to sharpen them. One day, as part of my preparation for a class, I took out my pencil from the stationery section of my drawer. To my dismay, it was as blunt as a pencil could be. I stopped what I was doing and turned my attention to my drawer and decided to have things sorted and ready for me when I need them. I sometimes turn into this perfection freak - scrubbing, sorting, cleaning, arranging and driving myself crazy over little details. My stationery section sorted out, it took me one look at all my blunt pencils to drive me to be a mean, lean sharpening machine. Enough was enough. One after the other I sharpened them till they looked like stiletto heels. Instead of trashing the remains, I decided to make flowers out of them. Just like we used to when we were in school. I hung them over some colorful push pins to complete the picture. Perfect!

Lost and found

i am lost and found
from time to time
i need to show me the way
from here to now

colors are bright and black and white
floating spaces around me
breathing makes it heavier
the rivers are full and the dam open

darkness never seemed so bright
sparkling and bubbling fear
safe in the cocoon of suffocation
waiting for green days...
